Even though SubSonic is primarily designed for music, an update to the software provided the ability to stream videos including TV Shows and Movies.
Is it possible to add notification for SubSonic so that as soon as an episode is downloaded, SubSonic can be notified to start a library refresh.
Is there an API for it?

I found mention made of a technique on this page
