Description of issue
Whenever i try to set SABnzbd as my download client in Sonarr, it gives me the following error:
“Test aborted due to exception: Unable to connect to SABnzbd, please check your settings”
I am kind of puzzled about what could be the issue. Both SABnzbd and Sonarr seem to be running fine, SABnzbd on IP: 192.168.0.106:8080. Sonarr on: 192.168.1.4:8989
I already tried different hosts like: 0.0.0.0 / localhost / 127.0.0.1
127.0.0.1 or localhost will only work of SAB and Sonarr are on the same machine. 0.0.0.0 won’t work at all.
You need to use the specific IP you mentioned here. It looks like the logs are from when you used 0.0.0.0, so I can’t suggest what the issue might be without logs of a request to the correct IP failing.
Thanks for the reply! SAB & Sonarr are both running on the same machine so not sure why localhost is not working.
I tried using the SABnzbd IP “192.168.0.6” and now it’s working. Thanks for the help1
