No results found for EastEnders episodes via DogNZB, other shows are fine

Not having trouble with any of my other shows. I just added EastEnders as a series and when I manually or automatically search for one of the recent episodes, I get no results. In the logs I see:

DownloadDecisionMaker No results found NzbSearchService Searching 1 indexers for [EastEnders : 2015-07-27

Notice that there is no closing right bracket in the search string: [EastEnders : 2015-07-27

When I search for another one of my shows it works fine and I do see that closing right bracket, not sure if that’s a hint at all, eg: Searching 1 indexers for [BattleBots (2015) : S01E06]

I have no problem with a curl of my DogNZB api test call of: https://api.dognzb.cr/api?t=tvsearch&apikey=mykey&q=EastEnders and no problems using the search on the dognzb site.

I’m new to all of this, so feel free to yell at me if I didn’t provide enough info.

Ideas?

This appears to be a problem with their API. If you look at the debug logs in Sonarr you will see the URL on dognzb that is requested:

https://api.dognzb.cr/api?t=tvsearch&cat=5030,5040&extended=1&apikey=&offset=0&limit=100&rid=3418&season=2015&ep=07/27

No results are returned, but hitting:

https://api.dognzb.cr/api?t=tvsearch&cat=5030,5040&extended=1&apikey=&offset=0&limit=100&rid=3418

shows a result with season 2015 and episode 07/27, which means they are parsing it, just their search for it fails.

Thanks for the quick reply. I added another indexer for now and I was able to retrieve the shows. I posted a comment on the dognzb forum. I’ll update here when I hear something from them.

DogNZB staff just replied with:

The problem has been fixed. It was a problem with Season that had 4 digits (for example Season 2015). It looked for S2015 with produced no matches.

I tested and it’s working fine. Thanks again for the help.
