Ok. First off, I love sonarr. Thank you to the amazing team that supports and develops for it!
I am having an issue though having sonarr “sort and rename” my media… First, my setup:
sonarr is sending nzb’s to NZBGet. NO post-processing is configured in NZBGet. No “Drone Factory” folder or setting configured.
sonarr properly finds the completed media, renames, moves the show, and deletes the data from the directory where NZBGet originally downloads it.
Here’s my problem: I don’t want it to. sonarr is moving the media file to a subdirectory of another drive, onto another PC (where the TV Shows were created). Is there an option to simply rename the media, without moving them to that location?
When it does the above… it makes things more difficult for access. I use Windows Explorer or XBMC/Kodi to browse the original location I’m downloading to (via NZBGet). I don’t want to go browsing through 30 TV Show folders looking for shows to play. I used to use ‘videosort’ in NZBGet that simply renames the show, and moves all shows to ONE folder. That way, I can browse what I have in one place. Done.
Using videosort was an issue though, because sonarr looks for the ORIGINAL download location, not where videosort is putting the finished/renamed episodes… and then it sits in “Activity/Queue” at 100% without ever “finishing”…
Any thoughts on how to get sonarr to do LESS work (not move files to TV Show folder), or how to keep sonarr from hanging up trying to find episodes after videosort PP’s them? Any help would be greatly appreciated, thank you!
