Hi guys, have just discovered Sonarr and have it all set up, but it doesn’t seem to be auto downloading anything.

Have added the tv shows i want to monitor, and pointed it to the storage location. It found them all and updated correctly in Sonarr series list. I then added “Empire” which i have no episodes downloaded, but nothing has happened and it hasn’t attempted to download anything from what i can see.
Sonarr doesn’t automatically search for old episodes unless you tell it to. Its primary objective is to grab new episodes as soon as they air; that happens automatically.
Right, so if any new NZB or torrent files are added for those episodes then it will automatically grab them. If you want to manually search for older stuff, manually click the little magnifying glass icon (either for an individual season or for the entire series) and it’ll do an automatic search.
You can also do a manual search for each episode using a different icon; that will bring up a list of all the available releases matching that episode and you can manually choose the one you want.
