Does anyone know why Sonarr would create new series folders without the year? According to the series folder example on the Episode Naming page, it should be “The Series Title (2010)” but when it actually creates new series folders, it is simple “The Series Title” (without the year).
Any ideas why this would be happening?
It will only add the year for remakes. E.g. the original '78 show will simply be named “Battlestar Galactica”, while the remake will be named “Battlestar Galactica (2003)”. I think that’s due to thetvdb.com (where sonarr gets its information) naming scheme.
