Looking to set this up
Switching from sickbeard to sonar. Also looking at plexrequest shortly down the road.
So far I have added my existing shows. Still trying to figure out the monitor state, continuing state and so on.
Ideally I would like the following, If a new show gets added 720p webdl would be as high as it goes.
some shows are old and might not have HD.
So start with sd, then uo to 720p last end at 720p webdl. Once my new server gets built (unraid) I will change it to 1080p webdl as the highest.
Setting up download quality profiles is pretty straight forward. Under “Settings” select the second tab which is called “Profiles”. In here you can modify or create new profiles.
A profile consists of a name, default language, cutoff (in your case you said you wanted WEBDL-720p), and all accepted qualities that the profile will use (turned on via a checkbox on each one). So in your case you could have a profile named 720p with a language of English and a cutoff of WEBDL-720p. You would then set the active qualities in the profile edit panel to be SDTV, WEBDL-480p, HDTV-720p and WEBDL-720p.
When you are adding or editing a series and you want to use this profile you only need to select it by name in the “Profile” listbox of the series edit panel.
The other thing I forgot to mention is that the order of precedence for individual qualities is configurable in the “Qualities” stack by clicking on the three horizontal bars on the right of the quality and dragging it up or down in the stack. This is used during RSS Sync or Automatic Searches where it is possible that more than one quality may be matched at once. The higher the quality is in the stack means it has precedence or is preferred over the qualities below it.
