ND deleted better quality file

I just noticed today that ND deleted a Bluray1080p copy of Banshee S0!E07 with HDTV-720p.

Here is my log:

Your logs don’t actually show the downgrade occurring, the check for S01E07 all show:
UpgradeDiskSpecification|Comparing file quality with report. Existing file is HDTV-720p

Other files in that series show the expected:
CutoffSpecification|Comparing file quality with report. Existing file is Bluray1080p

The existing file was the Bluray1080p and it was overwritten with the hdtv720p. If the logs aren’t showing it, then how can I prevent it from happening again?

Without logs showing the behavior there is nothing I can do, I can say that there are a large number of tests to verify this doesn’t happen, though nothing is perfect.

You could unmonitor the episodes, which would add another layer of checks to prevent it from replacing files.

The activity for that episode will show when it was replaced, but I don’t believe it shows what quality the episode was when it was removed, but it will at least let you know if you have logs that cover the time it occurred.

Okay, I’ll stop monitoring it because I would hate for it to happen again. I guess I will have to go through all my series with that quality and stop monitoring them.
