Multiple shows in same directory

I’m trying to setup Sonarr for the first time, but I’m having trouble adding all of my shows. I already have a bunch of episodes of various shows, but they’re all in the same directory without any subdirectories.

I.e. my directory structure looks like:
/downloads/Foo.S01E01.720p.HDTV.x264.mkv
/downloads/Foo.S01E02.720p.HDTV.x264.mkv
/downloads/Bar.S01E01.720p.HDTV.x264.mkv
/downloads/Bar.S01E02.720p.HDTV.x264.mkv

I can add the first series without any issues, but when I try to add the second series I get the error “Path is already configured as a root folder”. Is it possible to import these files into Sonarr without changing my directory structure? I can’t simply rearrange the directory structure without screwing up transmission and plex, which are both already using this directory.

Sonarr requires files to be broken up into a folder for each series, so what you’re trying to achieve is not possible.
