Is it possible to add the same show twice, in two different locations and have different quality settings?
The reason I would like this is because I predominantly want 1080p versions for all of the house media players, but have a single 4k media player, so want to set up it’s own dedicated 4k content. The 1080p media players cannot play 4k material.

Not possible with a single instance of Sonarr, a series can only be added once and only has one profile. Each episode can only be linked to a single episode file as well.
You could run a second copy of Sonarr under a different user on Linux/macOS. It won’t work on Windows due to how processes are exposed for multiple users.
