Moving Install from one Mac to another

I want to move all of my Sonarr database and install to another computer. The data files for the TV shows are all on network mounts, so the paths will not change. I do not want to have to recreate the Sonarr database though, since that will take hours and it will be tedious to duplicate everything I have previously setup.

Possible? What directory do I need to move?

Is everything in .../Application\ Support/NzbDrone/bin/

Backup and restore.

Yeah, that is not going to work in this situation right now, which is why I asked about moving the folder.

Guess I’ll just give it a go. I can’t find anywhere else that Sonarr might be storing its files, though that folder seems a bit small.

That’s where the database is stored, where Sonarr is installed isn’t important since you can just install it on the new system.

If you really want to move it, you can move it from the Startup Folder that’s shown in UI (System Status).

Well, right now I cannot open Sonarr on the machine it was running on. I moved the App and the ~/Library./Application Support/NzbDrone/ folder to the new machine and set the permissions on the ~/Library/… Folder and started it up. It is running according to the terminal but the UI will not load.

(New machine has Mono Framework 4.2.1.102)

Sounds like an error prevented it from starting, check the log files.

~/.config/NzbDrone/ was the directory I needed. Oh well, too late now,
