Moving downloaded files

I been using sonarr for a couple of weeks, and am very happy with it. Thanks.

However, I download the episodes on one machine and play them on another. The problem is that once I move the files, sonarr considers them missing and tries to dl them again. The only solution I’ve found, is to unmonitor the episodes, but this doesn’t seem to be the best solution.

It would be nice if sonarr could keep track of the files on the other hard drive also. This way, it could figure what it is missing and download them.It also would give better info about the show. Besides, it wouldn’t show all episodes in the calendar in grey

Sonarr only tracks one series folder (and no plans to change that behaviour), but you could have Sonarr move the files to the other computer automatically, instead of storing them locally and then Sonarr would be kept in sync.

:disappointed:

Too slow to move them over the wireless, and besides I transcode the files to what I use. Unfortunately, SD files seem to be less frequently found. So I usually end up dling 720 or 1080 and transcoding them to 720 but at a lower bit rate.

Settings > Media Management > Ignore deleted episodes. This unmonitors episodes when you move/delete them.
