More on TAGS in Sonarr

Sonarr version (2.0.0.4689):
OS Windows 7:

Description of issue: I’ve been trying to figure out all the potential uses for tags and thought I had come up with a useful one for me. In downloading all the episodes for an old series, I discovered one uploader whose nzbs are still completely intact and tried putting that name in as a tag on the series. Sometimes it works in bringing those nzbs to the top of the selection list and sometimes not. I can’t see any difference in when it works and when it doesn’t.

Is there any documentation on the use of tags? I haven’t been able to find any in the Wiki.

Tags link things to series (release restrictions, delay profiles, etc), the fact that those releases were at the top was coincidental, though with preferred words (not something available or in development at this time), then that may be able to do it.

I had also put the name of the indexer that had the releases that I wanted and that also seems to have worked part of the time as well. I guess preferred words (something that I believe Couchpotato used) is what would do the trick. Oh well, back to manual selection for this series. Thanks for the response!

I did find a workaround. I went directly to NZBGeek and put in the exact search criteria along with the author group that I wanted, downloaded them en masse, and dumped them into the SABnzbd monitored directory.
