Monitoring series but not downloading automatically

Hello!

I’m new to NzbDrone. But when i add a tv-series like How I Met Your Mother and monitor all seasons, it won’t start downloading it automatically. Is it supposed to?

I have to go to wanted and push the search all missing button to make the program download it. Some of the episodes fail and the system won’t retry them.

Im using SABnzbd with a retention of 900 days.

No that is not how it works.

In other words, only episodes recently added to your configured indexer(s) are ever downloaded automatically.
