MediaInfoLib missing

I have just updated to version 2.0.0.1141 on a linux box running opensuse 13.1. I am getting the following error on launch:

[Error] VideoFileInfoReader: mediainfo is required but was not found

Is there something missing from my install? I installed from the latest tarball.

Regards

Yes, you need to install mediainfo. It is not something we can include, but has been a requirement for a while now.

Thanks. Have installed that now, but now I’m getting this error and (as far as I can see) no xbmc metadata is being downloaded

I see what the issue with metadata is, I’ll be getting a fix out.
