Mass Editor - Monitor Series options

If I navigate to a series in the normal way and then select “Series Monitoring” from the toolbar I get a large number of options available:

However when I am in the Mass Editor I only have the options to monitor, or not monitor:

I would really like to set a bunch of my existing series to “Monitor Existing Episodes” but doing this via each series individually would be painful. Is there a reason this cannot be on the mass editor, or can it be added?
