macOS 10.13.4 SSL Issue

Every time I connect to Sonarr over SSL, it says the website requires a client certificate.

I created an SSL cert today. (http://www.selfsignedcertificate.com/)

  • Pointed CouchPotato @ the cert and it works fine
  • Pointed nzbget @ the cert and it works fine
  • Enabled SSL on Sonarr and I get the error message.

Logs show it binding to port 9898, but I cannot find a place to point Sonarr to the newly created certificate.

It’s adding a certificate to my keychain(not showing in logs, but I watch it pop up) that expired a long time ago.

The web server Sonarr uses does not support intermediate certificates under mono (or newer ciphers for that matter). A reverse proxy that does the SSL termination (nginx, apache, caddy, etc) is the workaround for the time being.
