Mac Auto Add to iTunes

New Sonarr user here having come form SB and love the whole look etc, but only issue I have is that with SB when the file was downloaded it auto converted and was moved into iTunes for us to watch on our ATV’s.

I have searched but not found any way to do this with Sonarr. Can anyone help me out please?

Thanks

You can add a custom script after files are imported

From there you can run your conversion and probably add the video to “Automatically Add to iTunes” folder.

Thanks mate but sorry confused here as to what to do next :frowning:

I understand what you’re saying in that to add a custom script (no idea how), but then how to convert and use the folder, sorry lost me :frowning:

The script will convert the video file. You’ll have to find one or create one that does the job. Sonarr doesn’t converts or remux video files. The script can be added at the connect section. Maybe someone here has already a working video convert script.

iTunes has a folder, that works as a watch folder. Everything that you put there will go to the library. Is usually under ~/Music/iTunes/iTunes Media/ folder is called literally “Atomatically Add to iTunes”

Thanks mate appreciate your help, not sure what’s out there but will have a look see, ta

I use this script for SB and see that it can handle Sonarr but without Tagging, although still struggling to get it going on Sonarr, but it’s a start -

MP4 Automator

I so want to get rid of SB as loving the look and feel of Sonarr, but would love the auto convert and add parts to complete it.
