Limits of number of series in Sonarr

Sonarr version (exact version): 2.0.0.5085

Description of issue:

My Sonarr manages about 1800 series, of which about 300 aren’t finished. What I noticed is, that Sonarr doesn’t update these series. If I take an individual, unfinished series and do a manual search on missing episodes, I usually find lots in different qualities and for both the download clients I use. However, Sonarr doesn’t pick them up itself nor doees a “missing episode check” for the open series. All series are added to watch all episodes for the highest quality.

Is this a limitation of Sonarr in the number of series watched? How can I motivate Sonarr to continuously keep rechecking these series if a download failed? Usually they are added to the queue (initially), but if it fails, it ends.

Many thanks in advance for your insights.

How Sonarr finds releases is explained in the FAQ. The short answer is unless episodes are being reposted Sonarr won’t automatically find releases for them. A missing search for all series also may miss things if a large number of API requests are made and API limits are exceeded.
