KickassTorrents Indexer Throwing XML Parse Error

About a week ago, I started getting weird errors with the KickAssTorrents Indexer. I am now running on OSX with version 2.0.0.3004 and I still get the errors

Have you tried using https instead of http?
Have you tried a different URL?

That URL is working for me (after switching to https).

@markus101 thanks for the reply. When i change to https, the Indexer passes the test connection. When i try and do a manual episode download, I get no results.

I get some log entries as follows:

NzbSearchService: Searching 1 indexers for [The Walking Dead : S05E14]
DownloadDecisionMaker: No reports found

This torrent definitely exists though

ok on further investigation, it seems that (from trace logs), I am hitting a URL as follows:

https://kickass.unblocked.pw/usearch/Fortitude%20S01E08%20category:tv%20verified:1/1/?rss=1&field=time_add&sorder=desc

and getting a 404

When I change that URL to remove the verified:1, https://kickass.unblocked.pw/usearch/Fortitude%20S01E08%20category:tv/1/?rss=1&field=time_add&sorder=desc

I get a response and all is well

Can verified torrents be turned off?

Yes, check the KAT settings in Sonarr (advanced setting in believe).
