I’ve noticed this a couple of times. If TheTVDB changes some of the information on an episode, Sonarr becomes very confused.
For instance, recently TheTVDB updated The Daily Show so that 4 episodes that were listed as Season 23 are now listed as Season 22:
160 Katy Tur 2017-09-25
161 Kathryn Miles 2017-09-26
162 America Ferrera 2017-09-27
163 Craig Robinson 2017-09-28
Season 23 starts with the next episode. However, those 4 files had already downloaded and were sorted by Sonarr as Season 23. For example:
F:\TV\The Daily Show\Season 23\The Daily Show - 2017-09-28 - Craig Robinson.mkv
So, when Sonarr detected the change, it immediately decided that those 4 episodes were missing since they weren’t in the Season 22 folder. It then downloaded all 4 of them again.
However, the episode that were already in the Season 23 folder, it immediately decided were actually the first 4 episodes of Season 23, even though their names were nowhere near those episodes. It also decided the episodes after those 4 were future episodes.
I deleted the 4 episodes out of the Season 23 folder and I refreshed the files and info, but it still thinks the episodes are different ones (see the screenshot)
Is there any way to fix this other than removing all the files from the directory, scanning for changes, then putting them all back and scanning again? I’m currently remote to my computer and can’t move files around like that.
