Issues importing torrents into Sonarr

I have Sonarr set up to prefer usenet. However I also have a few trackers that I use including BTN. On occasion, a torrent gets snatched and sent to my remote seedbox using the rutorrent blackhole method. I use Syncthing to sync my files from my seedbox back home to a “Sonarr Import” folder. Most of the time individual episodes are imported just fine, but when it’s in a folder with subtitles or other files it doesn’t get imported correctly. Also for season packs, same issue. Sonarr imports once an individual episode is done syncing and before the entire season is downloaded. It gets imported to quickly. Is there a better way to do this? Any help would greatly be appreciated. Thank you!

Not using blackhole and using a “proper” client in Sonarr with a remotely mounted file system is really the only thing that you can do. There isn’t a lot we can do to handle the scenario where blackhole is still being updated, its a dumb import system that doesn’t provide information about anything else thats updating it.

Ah, I was afraid you’d say that  I tried mounting my remote file system but for some reason it took FOREVER to import one episode. I guess I just need to play around with that some more to get it working properly. I use MAC OS X…have any tips on mounting a remote file system? I used ExpanDrive to mount it but the speeds are just ridiculous for some reason. I heard FUSE for OS X is a good route unless you or anyone else knows of a better way. Thanks for the help!

sshfs has a few tweaks for very good performance, I believe, but no idea how that works on OSX.
