I recently added a TV show in Sonarr that already existed on my server. When I went to toggle the monitoring status on a few season the interface updates and states the season is monitored. As soon as I leave that series or refresh the page the monitoring for those seasons gets reset to unmonitored and Sonarr does not actively try to search for the missing episodes.
Sorry had a typo in my initial comment. I actually set the monitor status of a season to “Monitored”. As soon as I navigate away the status is changed back to “Unmonitored”.
No errors in the logs but there is a warning that states the following:
Invalid request Validation failed: – Path is already configured as a root folder
All my other tv shows work fine so it appears to just be this new series I’ve added. I verified the file path is similiar to all my other tv shows so not sure why this warning is appearing.
Are you able to change the monitored status for the full series (just to test)?
I tried doing this and it never changes the toggle to monitored.
Which OS?
I’m running this in a docker currently for unraid.
Okay, deleted the show and re-added it again. Seems this time its working properly. The only thing I can think that I did differently was before I directly added the path of the show in the search box where as this time I added the root path but selected from the list of shows that Sonarr found when scanning that directory.
I’m going to see if I can reproduce this over the weekend by re-adding the show using the direct path opposed to selecting from the list that Sonarr populates.
