Windows 10
I used to be able to add UNC paths in the older version. For example all my TV Shows reside on \BBOX\TV1, TV2 etc. How do I add it in this version? I can only see my C & D local drives.
Thanks,
Shedrock

Same way you always did, add it manually, \\server\share
.
Mapped network drives are not visible if you’re running it as a Windows service, as windows does not support them.
Well that’s the thing. I added it the same way I did but it does not find them. It only sees the 2 local drives.
UPDATE: I had to restart it a few times. I got it to work now.
Thanks
UNC paths are never shown, they’re not part of the system.
Mapped Network Drives (which use a UNC path behind the scenes) are, but only when running via the console or the system tray, not he Windows Service and if they sometimes show it’s the exact reason we’ll be hiding them completely in that scenario because Windows doesn’t support services accessing mapped network drives, it never has and we have an FAQ entry about it.
