Installing on Android system

First off I’m sorry if this has been brought up before as I am sure it has been, but I can not find it with searching.

Basically I’m looking at getting a MiniX NEO X8-H to replace a failed laptop that was running my XBMC/NzbDrone/SABnzbd setup for a full automated setup. XBMC comes preloaded, but I cannot seem to find any information on the feasibility to install NzbDrone on a android system. I know there is a sickbeard android version, but I like to watch some History channel shows therefore sickbeard is useless due to episode indexing issues. Is there an easy solution or will I need to continue to run a PC based setup to use NzbDrone?

Not sure if anyone has tried, you would need mono, mediainfo and sqlite able to run on the device, mono and mediainfo are probably going to be an issue. Xamarin allows developers to write applications using the .net framework that run on Android, but I’m not aware of them running a full mono version for that.

I’d say the chance of success is going to be low, at least at this time. For now you’re better off sticking with standard PC hardware for running drone.
