I don’t know of any current free indexers. Most cost a little money. Some do have like a free 10 API hits per day.
The ones I’m on cost at least $10 or so per year. It’s pretty simple to get a Indexer working. There’s only really 2 things you have to have, the address to the Indexer and your API code. You can name it anything you want. Put the 2 things in, hit test and it should connect. It’s not rocket science.
Thanks for the replay, what indexer are you using?
also i have tried with my torrentleech and it didn’t work. i put the API key that i received from their web site.
I’d rather not say which ones I’m using, though it’s about 10-11 of them. A couple kind of come and go. Some disappear in time for one reason or another. They’re all pay, though I’m lifetime on a few for what that’s worth.
I rarely ever do torrents. It’s mostly all Usenet. For me, it’s almost always far better and faster and better quality files. I’ve never gotten my API key from a e-mail or something. Click on your account and get it from there. All of mine are pay to use. A few have limited free maybe 10 API hits a day, which is pretty poor. You get what you pay for.
All I can say is make sure you put in the correct address, the correct API and it should work if everything is correct. It’s not that hard. I cut and paste everything to help in not getting a error someplace. You’re using torrentleech, I have no experience with them. Sounds like a Torrent site. Again, I don’t do torrents.
