Occasionally a tracker/indexer becomes not available or ceases to respond. After a period of time, Sonarr marks the tracker as unavailable, but doesn’t seem to automatically bring it back into service once the tracker issues is resolved. However, if I go into the tracker settings and click Test, sonarr then sees it as healthy again and proceeds to use it. Has any one else experienced this?
The delay is increasing, so if it goes down for an hour Sonarr slowly backs off, 5, 15, 30, 60 minutes, then 3, 6, 12, 24 hours.
So it depends on how long it was down for and when Sonarr first noticed.
I see… is there a way to modify this behavior or is it hard coded into the app?
Its hardcoded behaviour, we don’t plan to make it configurable.
Depending on the indexer and whether it supports RSS paging (and Sonarr supports it for that feed), Sonarr will attempt to go back and process the results it missed.
understood… thank you for taking the time to respond.
