Hi,
Although One Piece is set to ‘Anime’ category, Sonarr can’t seem to get the correct scene numbering when scanning the disk, but the search is working.
Any idea ?
Thanks.

Nothing in the filename indicates it’s anime (hash or release group in [] usually, so Sonarr parses that as a combined 3-digit season and episode number. The series type does not influence which parsing tests are performed, at least at this time.

Okay, thanks for the reply.
Any workaround ?

Add [RlsGroup] (anything inside the square brackets should work) to the end of the file name, something like Filebot is probably helpful to do it quickly on all files.

Thanks, that worked
But still, shouldn’t sonarr assume that since the Serie has Anime type, it should look for an absolute numbering in the scan task?
If you think that’s worth it, I can add it to the github suggestions.
Actually, most of the releases I get don’t have Rlsgrp, maybe that’s uncommon…

Anyway, thank you for your time.

There are definitely improvements to be made there, but they change a big part of the process and aren’t simple. We have an issue open for it already, but no timeline when it’ll be implemented.
