Description of issue: So I’m pretty sure the problem is within my set up and if that’s the case I’ll just deal with it later. But Ideally I’d like to be able to get my full library scanned. So plex can see the shows and gets all the stuff it needs without crashing the virtual drive but it seems like when sonarr goes to update the whole library not only does it take forever with each individual series but it’s listed a ton of them at 0/0 episodes when they’re either 98% complete or you know not 0/0 there are some files there…

So I know the deal is probably because I’m using a stablebit cloud drive to emulate a hard drive and it works for most things it’s just a little slower and seems to crash if there are too many requests at 1 time or if my internet goes out… it also appears to have an effect on my net so… anyways…

I guess I"m just asking if you guys have ran into anyone else with these virtual drive setups and if there are some settings I can change that are maybe hidden to like do a slow scan or intensive but slow scan or somethign…

One other odd behaviour is when I go to one of these shows that are displayed as 0/0 episodes scanned the wheel for scan show is already spinning but nothing happens even if you wait forever… however if you click on the already spining update wheel it’ll eventually grab all the shows for it… but it seems to take forever to gather the meta data for the media…

Sorry that this is long but I’m just looking for ideas not 1 solid be all end all answer to the question as I know it’s most likely going to be “stop using a virtual drive” and I fully intend on it but right now I don’t have the money to buy all the HDDs I would need to back up my content locally…

By default when Sonarr imports files it reads the media info for those files, which in your cloud setup means it would take longer to process and depending how Stablebit Cloud Drive handles it, it may need to pull down the entire file to read a small chunk of it.

First thing I’d suggest is turning off Analyse Video Files on the Media Management settings page (it’s an advanced setting). Restart Sonarr after changing that to interrupt any active series refreshing then refresh a single series when it’s restarted and ensure that the files were all read in properly.

0/0 usually means that there is no monitored episodes and there are no files for any episodes, that may be what you want, but if you want Sonarr to upgrade the episodes or watch for the ones that are missing you’ll need to monitor them.
