Put.IO is a great option for those who wish to offload torrent downloading to a service online.
Other software like sonarr already have integration with put.io, so clearly it’s possible.
Using one of the other software as an example, integration with put.io would need the following config settings:
- Oauth_Token > to communicate with put.io APIs
- Put.IO Folder > where on your put.io account, you want the torrent stored
- callback host > External reachable url to sonarr so put.io can do it’s thing
- Download > checkbox to have sonarr download the file from put.io
- Delete file > checkbox to indicate whether to delete the file from your put.io account once sonarr grabs it.
- Download Directory > Local directory to download files to
I pretty much took the idea straight from “couchpotato” so all credit goes to them, cause this isn’t my idea.
