Importing Subfolders

Sonarr version (exact version): 2.0.0.4389
OS: Windows 10 v1607 Build 14393.351
Description of issue:
I have had a search around but am unable to locate what I am looking for and hoping someone can help me.

I house my TV shows as follow:
TV Show\Season xx\TV Show - Season xx - Episode xx - Episode Title.xxx
(I would prefer to keep it this way)

Is Sonarr able to understand this as when I try to import existing series it is unable to understand and tries searching for the Season xx directories.

That’s a pretty standard format. WHen you import existing series you don’t select the series folder, you need to select it’s parent folder (the folder that contains the individual series folders).

When I “import an existing series on disk” I am selecting the root TV show folder as shown here:

But when I hit the green tick I get the following:

Hopefully this will point to where things are going awry.

Cheers.

G:\! Sorted\Lucifer is the series folder, the root folder is G:\! Sorted. (The folder that contains the series folders, not the series folder itself).

Ah I see, that makes more sense.
When I did that I had more questions but decided to use my eyes and work it out for myself rather than be a complete spoon fed pillock.

(I’m impressed with what I have seen of Sonarr’s interface and functionality I must say!)

I really appreciate the assist markus101

Now I just have to get the torrent side of it working, though I’m sure it’s not too hard… he said optimistically. :joy:
