Import Series (Docker, read only volumes)

Since docker doesnt support symlinks. I have media is multiple folders/pools.
I also have my media in readonly mounts ccurently as I dont want Sonarr to delete/rename/move at this time.
I can currently add a series to the default PATH provided. Then update that path to the mounted volume in the container and sonarr with get all the episodes inventory. Wonderful.

***However import series function returns “Folder is not writable by user abc” when trying to import old series. Is there a reason for this or way to resolve this. Why can i edit a series individually with read only mount but not with the importer in bulk?
