**linux/ docker container **:
Import failed, path does not exist or is not accessible by Sonarr: /downloads/completed/Doom.Patrol.S01E01.720p.WEBRip.X264-METCON-postbot:

Sonarr fails every time to import files, I need to do it manualy. And the path exists.

Also, they are accessible.

/downloads/completed/ vs Downloads/usenet/completed/, looks like the path reported by the download client doesn’t match the path Sonarr should actually use to import, either the download client and Sonarr need to see the exact same path or use a remote path mapping.

Ok, I totally agree with you on that. I should fix it.

This is how I have NZBget and sonarr configured on my docker config.ymal file.

 nzbget:
    image: "linuxserver/nzbget"
    container_name: "nzbget"
    volumes:
      - ${USERDIR}/docker/nzbget:/config
      - ${USERDIR}/Downloads/usenet:/downloads
      - ${USERDIR}/docker/shared:/shared
    ports:
      - "XXXX:6789"
    restart: always
    environment:
      - PUID=${PUID}
      - PGID=${PGID}
      - TZ=${TZ}

 sonarr:
    image: "linuxserver/sonarr"
    container_name: "sonarr"
    volumes:
      - ${USERDIR}/docker/sonarr:/config
      - ${USERDIR}/Downloads/usenet:/downloads
     # - ${USERDIR}/media/tvshows:/tv
      - ${USERDIR}:/data
      - "/etc/localtime:/etc/localtime:ro"
      - ${USERDIR}/docker/shared:/shared
    ports:
        - "XXXX:8989"
    restart: always
    environment:
      - PUID=${PUID}
      - PGID=${PGID}
      - TZ=${TZ}

This is what NZBget paths show.

Should I change - ${USERDIR}/Downloads/usenet:/downloads for -${USERDIR}/Downloads/usenet:/Downloads/usenet ?

If both NZBGet and Sonarr are using /downloads pointed at the same path (which looks like it is as long as the same user is used), then you should have to change anything.

The issue likely comes down to permissions, either different PUID and/or PGID for the different containers.

GUID and PUID are 1000 both.

In my first post, I’m showing you that all folder on Downloads/usenet/completed are created with the permissions needed. I think

~$ id
uid=1000(jalex) gid=1000(jalex) groups=1000(jalex),4(adm),24(cdrom),27(sudo),30(dip),46(plugdev),108(lxd),999(docker)

${USERDIR}/Downloads/usenet for both containers point to the exact same path?

Either the paths don’t match (though they look like they do) or the permissions within the container don’t allow access, but it’s not obvious which one it is, you’d need to do a ls -l /downloads/completed from within the container better see what the issue is.

nzbget

root@668afd8e0578:/# ls downloads/
completed     nzb                    nzbget-2019-04-23.log  nzbget.log  tmp
intermediate  nzbget-2019-04-22.log  nzbget-2019-04-24.log  queue
root@668afd8e0578:/# ls -l downloads/completed/
total 0

sonarr

root@db7a9a27aeaa:/# ls downloads/
root@db7a9a27aeaa:/# ls -l downloads/
total 0

Downloads folder in sonarr is not going to anywhere, but I can access them through - ${USERDIR}:/data. That is how I’ve been getting files manually.

root@db7a9a27aeaa:/# ls data/
docker  Downloads  media
root@db7a9a27aeaa:/# ls data/Downloads/usenet/
completed     nzb                    nzbget-2019-04-23.log  nzbget.log  tmp
intermediate  nzbget-2019-04-22.log  nzbget-2019-04-24.log  queue
root@db7a9a27aeaa:/# ls -l data/Downloads/usenet/completed/
total 0
root@db7a9a27aeaa:/#

Do I change ${USERDIR}/Downloads/usenet:/downloads for - ${USERDIR}:/data on NZBget ?

Isn’t it mounted with ${USERDIR}/Downloads/usenet:/downloads as described in your compose file?

If it’s not, you’d need to setup a remote path mapping to remap the remote path /downloads to /data/Downloads/usenet.

Yes, I’m using the same mount address as described in my docker-compose configuration. However, it’s not getting the configuration. At list it seems like that is what is happening.

${USERDIR} is /home/my_user. Where I’m mapping /data in sonarr.

I’m using that option because /tv variant didn’t work for me before. I saw the recommendations for sonarr v3 of using /data instead of /tv, and it worked for me.

Look I was editing the docker-compose file and then I got this message . Not always I get it.

WARNING: Service "radarr" is using volume "/downloads" from the previous contain
er. Host mapping "/home/jalex/Downloads/usenet" has no effect. Remove the existi
ng containers (with `docker-compose rm radarr`) to use the host volume mapping.
WARNING: Service "sonarr" is using volume "/downloads" from the previous contain
Recreating radarr ... done
Recreating sonarr ... done

The idea with that is to allow instant moves/hardlinking support. That’ll work, you’ll just need a remote path mapping to remap /downloads/ to /data/Downloads/usenet.

OK, that totally worked!. Thanks a lot. I’ve been stuck with this for a while. UUuff!!

You have been a huge help. I appreciated it, and also you patience with me.

I’m new on this world.

This is the solution:

Are you the developer? I ask because I’ve seen that you are the only one who replays always in the forum for issues like this.

Really good support from your part.
