Import Existing Series Seems Broken - v2

Hi all,

I’m attempting to move to v2, but I’m having issues with NZBDrone seeing the files already on the drive. I’ve tried 2 different ways to go about this:

  1. Use “Import Existing Series” - This doesn’t seem to work at all. I noticed that when I point it to a specific TV show directory and click the green check mark, it appends a season folder to the end of the path, and the subsequent search for that show turns up the wrong results.

  2. Add the series, and point it to a folder with existing content - I’m able to add the series, but NZBDrone doesn’t detect the episodes located in the sub-folders. I had the old NZB setup to add shows under the following directory structure: ShowName > Season # > Filename > The actual file

Any suggestions?

Import existing series should be pointed at the folder containing your show folders, not the show itself, it will then list all the shows in that folder for you to add (this is the same way v1 worked).

NzbDrone doesn’t really care what your structure looks like as long as the files are in the root of the show’s folder or nested below it.

I think the root of your issues is that you’re not using the recent folders the way they were intended, which is causing the whole process to fail. Changing the show’s path after the fact doesn’t force the episode scan to kick off.
