Sometimes HD releases of some shows are delayed while the SD version is available earlier. I thought it could be useful if there was an option to download the SD version of an episode if the HD version hasn’t been released after 24 hours. This could be a user selectable option.
This would be possible after https://trello.com/c/RSqFl24G/239-do-not-download-before is implemented. The only way to get a similar behavior is to allow SD and HD 720p and set the cutoff to HD 720p
