This probably won’t be an issue for 99% of people, but for the colour blind among us it’d be a nice option 
I find that the “On Air” and “Downloaded” colours look too similar (but again, this isn’t going to affect the vast majority of people, so it’s just a nice to have).
While I understand where you’re coming from would require quite a bit of effort as it would need to be changed on numerous locations and have other impacts. I don’t see this as something we’re going to look at in the forseeable future.
Even something like theme support would be difficult to support at this due to the volatility of the UI as we make changes to support new features.
