ICS File is not usable

Resurrecting this thread because I’m having the exact same issue and couldn’t find an answer elsewhere… the ics that gets downloaded is 100 bytes long and Google Calendar can fetch no actual data… I can’t change the subdomain as Fitur suggested above because it’s a dyndns one and it’ll fail…

Using 2.0.0.3573 on my Qnap NAS.

Thanks!

If you open the file manually is it empty?
You can still try a different address, just setup a temporary DDNS one to test to see if its blocked, my testing with Google Calendar showed it wasn’t very picky, but Hotmail was.

Thank you for your reply, Markus.

No, it’s not empty, but its only contents are:

BEGIN:VCALENDAR
VERSION:2.0
PRODID:-//ddaysoftware.com//NONSGML DDay.iCal 1.0//EN
END:VCALENDAR

What should it have in it?

Google Calendar doesn’t seem to block it (I’ve added other events from that address too), it just shows up empty, with no events…

Thanks again!

PS Hm, could it be connected to this: New episodes marked as unmonitored ?

That would do it, only monitored episodes appear in the ICS.

Yup, you were right. I deleted my installation and started from scratch, now episodes are flagged correctly and the calendar file is populated

One further question - I guess it’s not just a matter of uploading the file to Google Calendar because it’ll only pick up the next xx episodes contained in it, correct? I should add the URL as a new calendar?

Yeah, you’ll want to add the URL (which needs to be accessible externally), so google can keep it in sync.
