I would love to see a way to view the series background image full screen. The posters that load in the background when you view a series are great… but it would be awesome if we had a way to view them full screen.

Thanks for the reply mate. I have whipped up a design mock-up to demonstrate how the functionality of a full screen fanart slide show could be implemented in very discrete yet accessible way to give the fans of TV Series (all you users) the pleasure of viewing these great shots of their favorite characters. You could make it just the one photo that is used for the background or you could import whatever images they have on TVDB (say max of 10) and make them all available via a slide show.
When the button is pressed it would just launch a full screen (or full browser window) slide show. There are plenty of JS slide show scripts around, and a lot of them provide the functionality for Next, Previous and close as buttons that appear when you mouse over the slide show. The whole job could probably be done in 2hrs if you just used the existing bg image, prob 4 hours if you added functionality to load more images from TVDB when the series was imported.
Remember all your users are fans of TV Shows. The fanart is absolutely something they will all appreciate and something that will make your product more appealing to them.
