I was searching for a series via the +Add Series tab. I started typing in a partial name and some results came up. I hit the DELete key by accident and the search results went away, leaving a blank screen. I can no longer find those series via the +Add Series search. I even tried it a second time with a different search and watched as I pressed the delete key, saw the new results disappear, and now I can’t pull THOSE results up via a search either.
I’ve enabled the Debug function now, but this appears to be a deliberate feature and not a bug, and if so, I just need to know how to undo the removal of the results from the +Add Series search. Seems like an esoteric feature to me, but if it exists, there is likely a way to undo it.
Thank you for the reply. Sorry I wasn’t clear, but I’m not sure I can do better. I found a way around it, but I’m not sure my explanation of that will be any better.
I was able to bypass the issue enough to do what I wanted.
I pressed +ADD SERIES. Say I searched for, “WordOne WordTwo” and I typed in, “WordOne W”. Nothing at all would come up. If I typed in the whole thing, “WordOne WordTwo”, then the series would come up. I think I had, “WordOne W” typed in when I hit the delete key, which seemed to be the cause of the issue.
If I searched on just, “WordOne”, it would come up with a bunch of other series, but not, “WordOne WordTwo”. Just an odd thing to have happen.
I was able to bypass both ‘deleted’ searches in this way. Thankfully, typing in the name exactly makes it come up. Weird.
Thanks! With this knowledge, I went back and experimented more with the DELete key. Yeah, the clearing of the screen when you press the DELete key is of no lasting consequence. I was afraid to mess too much, not knowing if it could be reversed.
My ‘problem’ was a big nothing. Thanks for answering my question.
