I feel dumb. Can you help me get Sonarr working?

I tried to pay CBS so I could watch the Late Show, but apparently they don’t want Canadian money.

I’ve got indexers hooked up (Kickass, a couple of others that don’t require a login), and a download client (uTorrent for Mac)…but nothing seems to be happening, even after a couple days (and a couple of shows released). I read the FAQ - I think I’m doing everything right. At this point, I’m just not sure what to do. I’d really appreciate help figuring this out. Many thanks in advance.

I don’t have an answer for you unfortunately, but I have the same problem, and want to give some info on my situation…not sure if it is similar to yours;

I recently installed sonarr and set it up. Everything should be working (i’m moving from sickbeard so I understand how it all works)., but literally nothing is happening automatically. I installed on sep 7th, manually added a few missing episodes which showed up in sabnzb properly, and then I left it…wanting to check that those were downloaded ok, renamed, moved, etc. and to make sure it picks up new/backlogged stuff. It did nothing at all over the next few days so today I want to look to see what happened. The shows that were in sabnzbd were finished but not renamed or moved. I had it set up to rename and move when sabnzbd finished, but also had chosen the drone factory folder where sabnzbd left the finished downloads (where the files are still sitting), so it should have caught them all no matter what.

I then went to the history and found that nothing had been pulled since the 7th. Very surprising since I have hundreds of wanted episodes, so I chose a show and clicked the hourglass to trigger an automatic search. The spinning search icon started, but other than that, nothing happened…the search animation just kept going and going. i would navigate away from the page and back and it would be still spinning. I assumed it was searching and not finding anything, but even after a few minutes, the spinning animation was still hapepening which I thought was weird since it shouldn’t take that long to either find something, or search the db and not find anything. I figured it was just a glitch in the animation, so I went back to trying to figure out why the renaming was issues…

I navigated to the wanted page and chose to rescan the drone directory. the spinning animation went on again and again nothing happened. the spinning animation kept going and going and going, so at this point I feel like something isn’t working properly, so I restart sonarr. Upon restart, all of the sudden if finds the episodes I had asked it to look for and adds them to sabnzbd, and one of the episodes that was downloaded and sitting in the drone folder (only 1 - of 4).

At this point I’m thinking something really isn’t working correctly so I check out the settings and look at the tasks. Every task except for backup says ‘now’. Seems weird to me that all the tasks are running and yet nothing is happening. So I head to the logs. Literally nothing is happening. No new logs are being written. So I head back to the tasks, and choose one to execute. The animation is spinning, and I head back to the logs. Still nothing. So there seems to be some really big problems happening over here. I have no idea where to even start to fix it, so at this point it seems like I’m heading back to sickbeard unless someone here has any help to offer. I hope so though, because sonarr looks really awesome!

EDIT: I messed around with the settings, just re-saving things and restarted sonarr, and activity all of the sudden went crazy. Not sure what is going on as I didn’t actually change anything, but it seems to at least be doing something now. Hopefully this is promising. Sorry I can’t offer any more info for OP.
