Description of issue: Sonarr deleting nfo’s for thing it doesn’t recognize rather then ignoring them.
My largest issue is my Classic Doctor Who Collection but sonarr really attacked anything it didn’t recognize no matter if it was set to unmonitored or not. I’ll be honest I thought being unmonitored would mean it wouldn’t edit the local files. If someone could help me figure out how to setup sonarr to leave nfo files it doesn’t recognizes and only update new or “valid” nfo files that would be a life saver!
The problem nfo’s are mostly 00 special episodes I like to keep in the seasons they belong to for kodi etc. That is other then doctor who which I have organized as such which really doesn’t make anything happy so it was all manual and I really need it not to get nuked on the regular haha.
Classic Doctor Who (1963-1996)\Season 1 (1963-64) The First Doctor\Doctor Who - S01E01 (001) - An Unearthly Child - Parts 1-4/
Doctor Who - S01E01 (001) - An Unearthly Child (1) - An Unearthly Child.avi
Doctor Who - S01E01 (001) - An Unearthly Child (2) - The Cave of Skulls.avi
Doctor Who - S01E01 (001) - An Unearthly Child (3) - The Forest of Fear.avi
Doctor Who - S01E01 (001) - An Unearthly Child (4) - The Firemaker.avi
Often with a few bonus features that are specific to a story set so I had nfo files for them that added them between episodes. I had a total of 1053 deleted custom made nfo files for classic doctor who and all the bonus features.
Luckily I use kodi and have at least one instances with the library presonarr I can tell kodi to export to nfo again but before I do I want to know how to prevent sonarr from doing it again. I have learned how to setup a recycling bin so I at least wouldn’t have dump them from a kodi database but sonarr has so many features I feel like I’m just missing the forest for the trees.
