How to force full rescan and rename of all episodes?

Hi. I’m still new here, so sorry if it is a dumb question.

I just changed the Episode naming format and would like to apply to all episodes in my library and force full rescan and rename by Sonarr.

1.) Is it possible to rescan library and let Sonarr to rename all episodes, using the new Episode naming format?

2.) Later, when I manually get and copy a some episodes into correct folders; Is it possible to ask Sonarr to scan, import, and rename them?

For Example, I copy some files,
Doctor.Who.S04E01.720p.BluRay.x264.Hun.Eng-Krissz.mkv Doctor.Who.S04E02.720p.BluRay.x264.Hun.Eng-Krissz.mkv

into my final tv shows folder
d:\media\tv-hun\Doctor Who (2005)\Season 4\

… then is it possible to rescan and rename and import them into/with Sonarr?
… without messing with ‘bad’ scene mapping and manual selecting of show/season/episode

I used SR for long time and just switched to Sonarr. SR could handle these kind of post-processing even when release name is absolutely messed up (for example: dart-ncis.1x15.hdtv.hun.mkv) when i copied into a correct folder and asked them to rescan and rename NCIS.

Can I do this in Sonarr? If yes, how?

Thanks in advance!

  1. Use Organize on the Series Editor page.
  2. Yes, but they need to be named in a way that Sonarr can understand, use Season 0 for specials.
