I don’t think this is something that can be handled by the Scene Naming Form so i am posting it here.
I have How It’s Made in my shows but Sonarr keeps downloading How It’s Made Dream Cars (Different Show) and then says series title mismatch so it won’t import.
It’s obviously great that it doesn’t import but it would be best if it just didn’t download it.
Yeah, that’s an indexer issue, when we search for episodes we use TV Rage ID to ask the indexers for specific series and we trust that the indexer has linked the series correctly (I’m starting to think this might not be the best idea)
but once the episode is downloaded our own logic kicks in and that’s why you see the warning in sonnar.
Maybe a setting per show where we could enable “Search by Name” for those shows we know most indexers are messing up…
