OS: QNAP based on: Linux-3.12.6-x86_64-with-glibc2.2.5

Description of issue: Troubles with indexers phasing in & out with whether they are available or not has turned out to be due to local ISP’s attempting to block KAT and RARBG in my region. Manually I can get round this by getting to the site with TorBrowser, on the NAS however, this isn’t an option or useful.

Enter Tor: https://www.torproject.org/about/overview.html.en
So, the workaround would be if I can get Tor to work with Sonarr on the box.

I’ve managed to install Tor, but am struggling to get my head round what bare configuration I need to set TOR as a proxy (and nothing else) and the other part as to what I should be setting up in the proxy fields in Sonarr.

Ideally I want ‘only’ Sonarr to be using TOR, not the entire NAS, hence the mention of bare configuration. I want to block all other traffic outside of Sonarr attempting to use it (for health & safety reasons).

followed by https://github.com/Sonarr/Sonarr/pull/1115 seem to have worked on getting precisely what I want achieved.

This said, there’s mention of tests that were done, any chance you could share those? I think that would send me on my way with the right bits.
