Help with config for dual servers

I have a weird setup:

server 1: Ras Pi 2 running sonarr and nzbdrone. This is active 24/7 as it is so cheap! Only used to search and download videos until server 2 comes online so that I don’t miss episodes that gett taken down.

server 2: PC running sonarr on debian wheezy (openmediavault). This has plex and all of the processed videos. This machine is only active for 5 hours per day (when I am at home) as it uses a lot more electricity.

My question is that I have issues with importing and I have previously just run bittorrent sync on the download folder and used the drone factory to process the files when they reach server 2 in order to import them to plex.

The issue is that btsync is crap and keeps breaking the sync so I want to use the completed download handler but I have issues importing from server 1 to server 2. Is there a way to get server 2 to detect and import the downloaded files once it switches on, from server 1 and to have server 1 know what has been downloaded, rather than showing all my previous downloads as missing?

Thanks

Until they are imported they will be considered missing in Sonarr, but Sonarr will see them in SAB/gets queue/history (not sure what you’re using) (Purple in Sonarr’s UI instead of Green).

Sonarr is going to try and import those completed files, but it will fail until the 2nd server comes online.
