Help for a new user coming from Sickrage - migrating settings?

HI
Been using Sickrage for a few months (new to the whole Synology Scene as of October)

I have set up Search indexers etc in there

Sickrage has currently crashed for me and I have no idea how to retrieve and googling suggested switching to Sonarr
I have set up a number of shows I like and also my search providers

Is there any way to migrate/import my existing settings from Sickrage - ideally by scanning config.ini or the sickrage database or do I have to start all over?

I have set up the following folders:
Downloads (and nestled within here: SABNZB blackhole; incomplete; complete)
Video (and in here tv, movies)

Which folder do I point Sonarr to for post-processing purposes to move to my “tv” folder please containing the folder of all my current shows?

No way to import your settings/shows, but you may be able to look at the config to see what you need to add.

Sonarr will talk to SAB on its API to add NZBs and know where to import files from, so you don’t need to setup anything in Sonarr besides the connection to SAB (don’t use blackhole) and make sure Sonarr has permissions on the files SAB downloads (read and write). Sonarr will move files to the directory set for the series when adding it, use Import Existing Series to point Sonarr at the folder that contains your shows and start adding them.

Thanks
A few more specific queries then please so I have this straight:

  1. For folder I have Downloads\TV\incomplete; Downloads\TV\Complete and then a TV[shows] folders. Do i point Sonarr to the Downloads\TV\Complete folder to look for files to post-process and then is there separate setting where I point it to the final folder for shows to watch?

  2. I currenty have category tv set up in SAB for Sick which includes using a post-process script; should I edit this category to remove the script and switch processing to “default”?

  3. I note there is a setting to scan and add shows I already watch - so I just point this to the “TV[shows]” folder and it will scan those folders and automatically add them shows to my list?

  4. In terms of quality of downloads, there are some shows I don’t mind watching in 720p, some I’d like the 1080p once available but would be happy to watch earlier in 720p etc - could someone please explain how I can set these priorities so it isn’t always pulling bigger files if I’m happy with the quality I already have?

  1. You can keep the same setup. Sonarr does not monitor directories, it monitors the results in the download program.

  2. remove the sickbeard post peocessing script, you won’t need it.

  3. yes

  4. use different profiles for different shows
