Full series pack detection

Hi

My tracker has full series packs (Eureka.S01-S05.COMPLETE.720p.BluRay.x264).
I added a Eureka as a show, it has no episodes. I clicked everything as monitored and performed “Search for all episodes in this series”.

It sent off a query for Eureka S1, followed by S2, S3, S4 and S5.

The above pack got rejected due to size constraints (configured to be 7.96 gb) because it calculates the max size as size * number of episodes in season (12) for a total of 95.6gb but the pack itself is 184.9gb.

Is it possible to get Sonarr to identify the above result as a “multi-season” pack and adjust its size calculation accordingly?

You can set the allowed size to unlimited for 720p under settings --> quality

Not sure, but I don’t think you want to do that, because I believe it will download the entire pack as a result for season 1 and then discard the season 2-5 files. Then redownload for season 2 and discard season 1 and 3-5. etc.

Better to manually download and import.

Yeah, I have a feeling it might do that too…
if I set it to unlimited I may run into the case where some person has uploaded a 40gb fake single episode to usenet as well… :frowning:

Manual download is not really a problem, I just wanted to double-check if there was anything I’ve missed or if it’s on a TODO list somewhere.
