So out of my 1000+ shows i am currently adding, (Taking forever one by one…sigh…) i have 90 or so that are in French. SickBeard couldn’t automatically download them but i could use it to post-process, generate metadata and add to XBMC the episodes i download manually.
Can i do the same with sonarr? How about the shows that have ended? Can i add them to sonarr without it overwriting my French episode nfos with English ones?
I have encountered my first one and it just so happens the French name is nowhere near the English name and sonarr just told me it couldn’t find it and doesn’t let me try to search for another name or input the TVDB id… Seems like no matter if the show exists or not, even in English, it should give me options on what to do and not just say the show isn’t found no?
Here is a screenshot… The french name is Goldorak and the english name is UFO Robo Grendizer…
Yes, plus sonarr has support for downloading files in another language. sonarr will import existing metadata files, but will attempt to update them on refresh, if the metadata files are in French they would be replaced with English ones (drone only generates metadata files in English).
Well thats a bug, it should give you the option to pick another name (if it finds at least one result it does), we’ll have to take a look at that.
If you really want to import them at once you could do $('.x-add').click(); in Chrome’s console - if any series are selected wrong then its going to add the wrong series though, never done it myself either.
Ok cool… was getting scared it would always tell me too bad, no show … hehehehe
Is there a way to pause the refresh of the metadata for specific shows? If not, what happens if i mark the nfos as read only on my file system?
As for the add all thing, i guess i can scroll through them all and pick the ones that are wrong manually then run the batch in the console for the remaining ones… thanks for the tip i will definitely try it!
Getting excited to finally make the switch to sonarr!
