Sequence from activity page:

Grabbed & Sent to download client
Episode Download Failed
Grabbed & Sent to download client
Downloaded Successfully and picked up from download client

The logs do not show any other downloading or sending to download client other then what is shown above.

Failed files and folder still exist in download folder.
Automatic import won’t pick them up (I think because they are now dups)
Manual import says “not an upgrade”, or “same file size”.

Running latest Sonarr on Win 10 x64

The warning is an issue with the nzb, it’s invalid. Perhaps the limit of the number of nzbs you’re allowed to grab daily has been reached on your indexer.

Not sure what this is referring to, the logs don’t sow issues importing. You’ll need to look at ((debug logs)) for more details.

That’s not a valid Sonarr release, it’s something that has been custom built by your or someone else. We can’t support this as we have no idea what was changed.

The file downloaded - so the NZB must have been valid.
The file even got imported, but the file & folder was not cleaned up like every other releases.
The folder E:\Downloaded\Newsbin\ only has folders with nzb in them, all other releases get downloaded and imported, and their respective folder removed.

Sorry, I’ll elaborate
Failed files and folder still exist in download folder.
The mkv file is still in the folder E:\Downloaded\Newsbin\The.Arrangement.S02E07.1080p.WEB.x264-TBS.nzb\

Automatic import won’t pick them up (I think because they are now dups)
The automatic scan for download files does not import these files

Manual import says “not an upgrade”, or “same file size”.
If I manually try to import them, I get either of the 2 above errors.

This doesn’t look right:

Grabbed & Sent to download client
Episode Download Failed
Grabbed & Sent to download client
Downloaded Successfully and picked up from download client

No, another NZB would have been tried, which is why something downloaded.

That’s a completely valid scenario, it wouldn’t lead to a duplicate video unless your client told Sonarr the download failed when it really hadn’t. Sonarr should have information on why it failed and ((debug logs)) will have extra information logged about the failure.
