Folder Structure & Naming

I’ve having some trouble getting NZBDrone configured with Sabnzbd. hnic seemed to of have just about the same problem as me here “http://forums.nzbdrone.com/discussion/1228/episode-naming”. Every time I download a show it makes an individual folder for it. I want to have it process the files so tha its show/season/episodename.mkv or whatever the file extension will be. Instead, each episode gets sent to its own folder. I have pictures of all my settings bellow. After checking out the wiki and trying everything else I just can’t figure it out… Please help :(. Let me know if I should send a trace log.

you shouldn’t need to touch the sorting settings in sabnzbd NzbDrone will handle the file moving, sorting and renaming for me i simple have sabnzbd download the file and extract it from rars and place it as show.name.s01e01.mp4 in my drone factory then nzbdrone grabs it and moves it to the correct folder and if not one there previously it creates a folder so what i am left with it

Show Name / Season 01 / show.name.s01e01.EpisodeName.mp4
show.name.s01e02.EpisodeName.mp4
show.name.s01e03.EpisodeName.mp4

here is a screen of mine including downloaded metadata

show level

Season Level

Episode Level

All this is handled by NzbDrone i have sorting turned off in my sabnzbd

also for categories when sabnzbd downloads and extracts the files from the rar’s if you want it to create a folder and have the episode withing and having identical names just leave as normal but if you just want it so only the extract file (AKA the .mp4) file is the only thing that sits in the drone factory but a asterisk on the end of the path so

D:/NzbDroneFactory*

however it doesn’t matter either way because as soon as nzbdrone detects that there is something new in the drone factory it moves the file and deletes the folder it was in so just leave as is IMHO
